I've known Sarita since I was nineteen years old. Always open, kind and interested in what was going on in my life. She got her start opposite Denzel Washington in Mira Nair's Mississippi Masala and I have always been fascinated by her. Women adore her, men are intoxicated by her. Strong, exotic, wildly beautiful with a calm, centered inner life, a focused steady gaze, and soft lilting British accent wrapped up in husky smoky voice. She is getting better with each year and I sense her time is actually now. Motherhood, experience and the seasoning that comes with staying true to one's artistic path, has brought Sarita into her true power. Surely this time will open up a whole new audience to this stunning, complex, talented actress.
